Pasta with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients:
  • 0.5 kilograms spaghetti
  • 250 milliliters cooking cream
  • 100 grams parmesan
  • 1 purple (or regular) onion
  • 250 grams fresh mushrooms
  • 2 crushed garlic cloves
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 bay leaves
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and black pepper
  • dryed parsley


Heat some oil in a large frying pan. Chop the onions and fry them until golden. Meanwhile peel the mushrooms, break them into chunks and add them to the onions. Season with garlic, cinnamon, nutmeg, bay leaves. salt and pepper. While frying the mushrooms, cook the spaghetti.
When the mushrooms are done, take out the bay leaves, lower the heat and add the cooking cream, Stir everything and don't let it boil. When the spaghetti is done, drain it (keep some cooking water aside) and add it to the frying pan with the mushrooms. Add some cooking water if there is not enough liquid. Add parmesan and stir again. Garnish wit some dry parsley and serve immediately.
